We are one of the big players in the Romanian textile market and we currently looking for a Production Planning Manager for our plant in Bucharest.

 

Key activities will include managing the Production Planning team as well as to maintain & improve product quality and ensure that procedures are followed in order to meet internal and external customer requirements. Candidates will also be expected to organize and improve the staff to ensure highest levels of service, quality and safe operation and will serve as facilitator, mentor and lead communicator for the Production Planning.

 

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The role of Production Planning Manager will involve day to day management of Production Planning, including providing training, induction and support.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Chief Operation Officer, the main duties will include:

 

  • Day to day management of Production Planning Department, including hands on support on the production line and ensuring all members of staff across the business are compliant with the Quality Management Systems;

  • Monitors daily production capacity and works with the supply chain to communicate shortages, manages the ordering of supplies and materials for the production teams;

  • Ensures realization of the production schedule and effectively communicate areas of risk, scheduling overtime; 

  • Attends and contributes to the Production Planning Meeting; 

  • Reviews production orders based on capacity to ensure customer demands are being met;

  • Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the production process to gain operational efficiencies;

  • Identifies the need for new equipment, tools, procedures and methods to increase productivity and safety in the production area while reducing cost and increasing reliability and quality;

  • Develops and maintains a detailed technical understanding of current and new products;

  • Performs all tasks in accordance with established Safety legislation;

  • Providing training and induction to new and existing staff members.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

For the position of Production Planning Manager, we are looking for applications from candidates who:

  • Can demonstrate previous experience within a textile or food production environment;

  • Have a good level of English and PC skills;

  • Have good communication, organizational and time management skills; Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;

  • Have strong problem solving skills, most possess a “hands on” mentality, strong team player who is able to motivate others;

  • Have the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, possesses a high level of initiative and be committed to continuous improvement and customer service. Must be detailed oriented.

 

Applicants should also have experience in supervising or training staff.

IT PROGRAMMER

 

Reports to          : IT Manager (located abroad)

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain the existing systems and develop new modules;

• Lead the development, testing and deployment of the existing systems;

• Provide technical leadership in the areas of design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of software systems developed and/or supported by the company;

• Develop, configure and maintain databases and related systems (this includes writing well-formed, efficient SQL queries, views, jobs and stored procedures to collect, process and present relevant data).

 

Requirements:

• University degree in computer science - Physics, Mathematics, and Engineering degrees are also acceptable;

• At least 2 years work experience in a similar position;

• Minimum 1 year development experience in C, php, java, java script and Windows server;

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus;

• Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

• Urmareste respectarea standardului de calitate pe tot procesul tehnologic;
• Controleaza calitativ si dimensional produsele in faza finala si intocmeste rapoartele de calitate;
• Verifica din punct de vedere calitativ si cantitativ, prin sondaj, fiecare lot de produse si accesorii ce urmeaza sa intre in productie.

Observatie: Toate acestea implica deplasarea la diversi contractori din diferite locuri din Buzau si/sau Ploiesti.

Production Planner

The Production Planner is responsible for defining and following weekly production planning. This Production Planner will working with the production supervisor to follow daily progress of the schedule. The production planner will also work with the warehouse to ensure optimum level of materials are provided.

 

Reports to:         Operation Manager

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Create a weekly production plan to ensure on time delivery to customer;
  • ·         Launch and print weekly work orders
  • ·         Provide copy of the weekly production plan to the Section Managers & Operation Manager;
  • ·         Record the daily production completed and adjust the daily program to ensure 100% service rate at the end of the week.
  • ·         Maintain a log of all incidents that occur during the day to explain the effectiveness on production
  • ·         Communicate the results and comments to the rest of the team at the end of the day
  • ·         Keep daily report on work-on-progress and efficiency
  • ·         Provide weekly updates to customers and react to changing demands of production.
  • ·         Responsible for completing and maintaining reports to track and improve production or scheduling as necessary.
  • ·         Participate actively in the resolution of problems and improvements of the process by bringing ideas and proposals to the team
  • ·         Collaborate with senior management, demand planning, sales and marketing to interpret the demand requirements of the business (volume, mix, trends, timing) into implications for production capacity over the short and medium term horizon
  • ·         Collaborate with senior management, manufacturing, cover sourcing, and procurement to develop and balance production capacity to meet demand requirements
  • ·         Develop the annual production plan for the business and gain approval from senior operations management – review monthly plant production plan and recommend plan adjustments
  • ·         Interact with management on identifying and resolving key production capacity issues
  • ·         Review New Product introductions/development and the Promotion Calendar to ensure that production can support all program requirements
  • ·         Monitor all plant production capacities in relation to the production plan and daily loads, which may include:

o   Weekly production planning updates with senior operations management;

o   Participation in production activity control;

o   Analyzing production data and open capacity reports to allocate plant resources effectively;

o   Reviewing daily production and backlog information to control “overload” or “past due” situations;

o   Monitoring introduction of new items/products to minimize disruption to normal production schedules;

o   Working with Section Managers to ascertain if the established plan is being met or if problems are anticipated

  • ·         Keep up-to-date on issues related to sales forecast, manufacturing, planning, new product introductions, line fill rates, metrics, and other related supply chain issues
  • ·         Provide reports, as required
  • ·         Continually enhance departmental efficiencies through process improvement
  • ·         Generate weekly and monthly KPIs on production capacity.

Subcontractors Manager

 

Reports to:         Operation Manager

 

  • ·         Organizes, coordinates, supervises and controls subcontractors department’s activity in order to achieve the production plans by the subcontractors according to quality standards;
  • ·         Manages SC department’s employees - including selection, induction & training, coaching, motivation, employee’s work performance evaluation and discipline;
  • ·         Continuously monitors textile producers market to identify potential subcontractors, negotiate contract terms and conditions;
  • ·         Reports the production results, analyses and proposes measures in order to improve efficiency and implements ways of improvements;
  • ·         Analyses and negotiates contracts between the company and subcontractors and comply with the Romanian commercial legislation in the best interest of ADESGO AS;
  • ·         Carries out evaluations and finds solutions to problems regarding stocks, orders, sales according to contracts;
  • ·         Nurtures and develops the relationships with subcontractors for a long time and according to company’s quality standards.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • ·         Production, production  planning and quality control experience – ideally within textile industry;
